1. Who we are

2. What UrbanWorks24 is
UrbanWorks24 is an online platform that connects customers who need home services (cleaning, repairs, beauty, gardening and more) with vetted, independent professionals in Portugal, Spain, France and Italy. Professionals are independent contractors, not our employees. We facilitate the booking, verification, communication and quality process between both sides.
3. Accounts
Booking a service requires an account with accurate contact details and a verified email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, provide false information, or abuse the platform or its professionals.
4. Bookings, prices and cancellation
- Prices shown in the catalog are starting prices ("from"); the final amount is confirmed before the visit. Custom requests are quoted after review.
- You may cancel a pending or confirmed booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Later cancellations must go through support.
- We may cancel or reassign a booking for operational reasons; you will be notified and never charged for a service that was not delivered.
- Payment is currently settled directly around the service visit; where online payment is offered, additional payment terms will be shown at checkout.
5. For professionals
- Working through UrbanWorks24 requires an approved application, including identity and (where applicable) registered-activity documents. Providing false documents is ground for immediate removal.
- Professionals act in their own name, are responsible for their own taxes, insurance and legal compliance, and may pause their availability at any time.
- Accepting a job creates a commitment to the customer; repeated no-shows or poor conduct can lead to suspension from the platform.
6. Content you upload
You may upload photos, videos and documents (for bookings or applications). You keep ownership of your content and grant us a limited licence to store and show it to the people who need it to deliver the service (for example, the professional assigned to your booking and our operations team). Do not upload content that is unlawful or infringes anyone's rights.
7. Reviews
Reviews must reflect a genuine, completed booking. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive or unrelated to the service experience.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform — including attempting to access other users' data, scraping, circumventing security, using the platform to send spam, or arranging off-platform payment to avoid platform processes where online payment is offered.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including consumer-protection law in your country of residence). Beyond that, our liability is limited to the amount of the booking concerned. Services are performed by independent professionals; we operate a verification and quality process but are not the party performing the work.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the platform in advance. The version in force is always available at this page.
11. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
